We're all about handcrafting beautiful, custom woodworking pieces right here in North Texas. Got questions? We've got answers! Here are some things our customers often ask. We're here to make sure you have a great experience with 4bcustoms Woodworking.

I received my board! How do I care for it?

Great question! To keep your board looking its best, hand wash it with mild soap and warm water. Avoid soaking it or putting it in the dishwasher as this will result in warping/damage. Regularly oil it with a food-safe mineral oil or board butter (available for purchase). This will keep piece beautiful for years to come!

What happens if my board gets damaged?

Our boards are 100% hardwood, which dependent on it's environment can naturally warp and/or split. If this happens, please contact us to set up a repair for free.*

*Repairs due to failure to maintain board may be charged a minor fee for repairs. **Please note not all repairs can be fixed. If this is the case I will be happy to discount your next purchase.

Where are your products made?

All our products are handcrafted with love right here in North Texas!

What kind of wood do you use?

We use a variety of hardwoods, including walnut, cherry, maple, and exotic woods. We can also accommodate specific requests for custom orders, depending on lumber stock availability.

Can I request a fully custom design?

Absolutely! We specialize in custom orders. Use the custom ordering form on our website or contact us to discuss your specific needs and vision. We love bringing unique ideas to life!

How long will it take to receive my order?

Since everything is made by hand, lead times can be up to 6 weeks, depending on the current order volume, lumber stock, and well, life! We promise it's worth the wait. Lead times will be regularly updated as needed.

Do you offer ready-to-ship items?

Yes! We often have extra boards, coasters, and other items available as non-custom, pre-made, ready-to-ship orders. Check out our shop page to see what's currently in stock. Don't see anything you want? Contact us to discuss!

What if I need to cancel my order?

Once an order is placed and work has started, all sales are final. Please contact us immediately if you have any concerns or wish to make changes. 

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept most major credit cards and other payment options through our secure online checkout process. Venmo/cash is also accepted for local orders.
